NFT Swap Pool About
About
Ever been a collector? Remember trading Pokémon cards, stamps, or anything else? Imagine a community where collectors pool their duplicates into one massive collection. From this pool, anyone can swap items at any time. This is that, but it's happening in the digital realm facilitated by the blockchain, specifically smart contracts on Cardano.Transaction Requirements
Before you initiate a swap, ensure you have sufficient ADA in your wallet. You'll need at least 10 ADA — 5 ADA as collateral and extra ADA to cover network fees. The fees depend on the specific pool and the number of NFTs you're swapping in a single transaction.Pool Contents
Most NFTs in the pools come from our Trybbles Claim Event in June 2022. The unclaimed NFTs from this event were added to the pools - 1151 in total. Additionally, we used revenue from the project royalties to purchase NFTs from earlier drops from secondary markets. Besides these, the Common pool also contains NFTs from the Trybbles Special Reveal Edition (SRE) collection that was minted before the main Series 1 drops, in June 2021. Half of the SRE were set aside from the get-go for the community. A large number of them were distributed in 2021 and 2022 through giveaways, partnerships and other events. The remaining SRE will be added to the swap pools over time.Smart Contracts and Pools
Each rarity level of Trybbles has its own smart contract, creating separate pools for each rarity. The exception is the Common pool, which accepts any NFT from the Trybbles collection based on its policy ID.Development and Open-Source
Developed by New Mindflow and CENT, with support from Cardano's Project Catalyst. The entire code for this dApp is open-source. Whether you're a project creator or an NFT enthusiast, you're free to use our code to set up your own swap pool. We encourage this as it adds unique value to Cardano NFTs, setting them apart in the wider blockchain ecosystem.
